If you are at the right level, then I think the abridged 红楼梦 mentioned by Myriam is
extremely good. The right level is where you know basic word combinations based on say 1500-2000
characters and...

I have known for some time that 好像 is preferred to 好象 for the usage in question; however,
my C-E dictionary includes only 好象 in the Chinese section. Perhaps I should invest in a new
dictionary......

It's probably easiest to order them online. The books I mentioned are published by a Shanghai
publisher and you might not be able to find them easily in Beijing bookstores.

You should also get 古汉语常用字字典 by Wang Li. It's probably the most useful and most
practical classical dictionary for everyday...

Okay... got auto fill operating...:clap I have to either do a carriage return or a space after I
paste a character. I think this is slightly different from how it operated in 0.6.1...

That is the way it has worked in 0.6.1... but with 0.7.0, I only get auto fill with an exact
match. I just removed 0.6.1, got rid of any left over parts of that installation, and reinstalled
0.7.0...

I removed the zdt directory... reinstalled 0.6.1... and got rid of the problem with not being able
to create new categories. :mrgreen:

I tried again with 0.7.0 and it still will will not...

I just installed 0.7.0

I like to add entries with serveral characters. I am having problems because it will not autofill.
In the previous version, it would autofill, at least, the tradtional...
